Terms & Conditions
Studio Ri Interiors
Effective date: July 2026 • Last updated: July 2026
1. About these Terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the Studio Ri Interiors website, digital platforms, resources, enquiries, bookings, purchases and services.
In these Terms, "Studio Ri", "Studio Ri Interiors", "we", "us" or "our" refers to Studio Ri Interiors. "You" or "your" refers to any person who accesses our website, submits an enquiry, purchases a service, downloads a resource, books a consultation, joins a waitlist, or otherwise engages with Studio Ri Interiors.
By accessing our website, submitting an enquiry, purchasing a service, ticking to accept these Terms, downloading a resource, or otherwise engaging with Studio Ri Interiors, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Where you engage Studio Ri Interiors for a custom design service, a separate proposal, invoice, written scope, service agreement, client brief or other written confirmation may also apply. If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and a signed or expressly agreed written service agreement, the specific written agreement will apply to the extent of that inconsistency.
2. About Studio Ri Interiors
Studio Ri Interiors is a design-led residential interior design studio based in Perth, Western Australia, working with homeowners across Australia.
We provide interior design, design planning, concept development, spatial planning, selections guidance, custom joinery design, furniture curation, design documentation, visualisation and related design services for homeowners who are building or furnishing their homes.
Our work is focused on the design, planning, documentation and visualisation stage of a home. We help clients make considered design decisions and communicate those decisions clearly through written, visual and technical design materials.
3. Website information
The information on our website is provided for general information, inspiration and educational purposes only.
Although we aim to keep website information accurate and current, we do not guarantee that all information, images, service descriptions, package inclusions, examples, prices, timeframes, availability or resources shown on the website will always be complete, current, accurate or suitable for your individual circumstances.
Website content is not project-specific advice and should not be relied on as a substitute for professional advice from an appropriately qualified builder, certifier, engineer, architect, draftsperson, electrician, plumber, cabinet maker, supplier, installer, accountant, lawyer or other relevant professional.
4. Permitted use of the website
You agree to use our website lawfully and responsibly.
You must not:
- copy, reproduce, scrape, modify, publish, distribute, sell or commercially exploit website content without our written permission;
- interfere with the operation, security or performance of the website;
- upload malicious code, spam or harmful material;
- attempt to access systems, files, forms, accounts or data that are not intended for you;
- use the website or our content in a misleading, unlawful, defamatory or harmful way;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your relationship with Studio Ri Interiors.
We may restrict, suspend or terminate access to the website or our services if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached or our website, content, intellectual property, systems or communication channels have been misused.
5. Intellectual property
All intellectual property created, developed, owned or licensed by Studio Ri Interiors remains the property of Studio Ri Interiors unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
This includes website content, project imagery, 3D renders, visualisations, design concepts, drawings, schedules, documentation, graphics, copy, branding, logos, service names, templates, guides, resources, processes, layouts, design language, methodologies and other design materials created, owned or licensed by Studio Ri Interiors.
For client work, unless otherwise agreed in writing, Studio Ri Interiors retains ownership of its design process, templates, systems, working files, draft concepts, source files, intellectual property, design methods and original creative material.
Once you have paid all fees owed for the relevant service, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the final deliverables provided to you for your own home and for the purpose for which they were prepared.
You may share final deliverables with your builder, cabinet maker, trades, suppliers, installers or chosen project team for that purpose.
You must not resell, redistribute, publish, sub-license, reproduce, adapt, commercially exploit, or reuse our deliverables, templates, documents, designs, methodology, images, visualisations, renders or resources for another property, project or commercial purpose without our written consent.
The licence granted to you does not include the right to use Studio Ri Interiors' deliverables, concepts, documentation, visualisations, renders, images, templates, resources, written content or methodology in any artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, image-generation, design-generation, drafting, data-training or similar tool or platform, except with our prior written consent.
6. Bookings, enquiries and availability
Submitting an enquiry, joining a waitlist, downloading a resource, requesting information, booking a call or discussing a potential service does not guarantee availability and does not automatically create a client relationship.
A service is only confirmed once Studio Ri Interiors has accepted the scope in writing and any required payment, deposit, agreement, form, booking requirement or onboarding step has been completed.
We may decline, pause or discontinue an enquiry or service request where the scope is unsuitable, outside our expertise, outside our availability, misaligned with our services, or where we reasonably believe we are unable to provide the service appropriately.
7. Our services
Studio Ri Interiors may provide services including, depending on the selected service or agreed scope:

8. Design, documentation, and visualisation services only
Studio Ri Interiors provides a design, documentation, and visualisation service only, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
We do not provide:
- procurement, purchasing or ordering of products;
- quote sourcing, quote comparison or supplier negotiation;
- supplier account management;
- builder liaison, trade liaison or supplier liaison;

We do not carry out building work, supply products, install products, engage trades and/or suppliers on your behalf, manage trades, or guarantee the work of builders, trades, suppliers, manufacturers, installers, consultants or other third parties.
Any builder, trade, supplier, manufacturer, installer, certifier or consultant engaged by you remains independently responsible for their own advice, pricing, measurements, compliance, workmanship, installation, product supply and professional obligations.
9. Project questionnaire and design brief
Most Studio Ri Interiors services commence with a lifestyle or project discovery questionnaire. This questionnaire is designed to collect comprehensive information about your lifestyle, household needs, design preferences, priorities, vision and requirements for your home.
Your answers form a key part of the initial design brief and guide the design direction, recommendations and deliverables prepared by Studio Ri Interiors.
You are responsible for answering the questionnaire truthfully, thoughtfully and with as much detail as reasonably required. If information provided in the questionnaire is incomplete, inaccurate, unclear or later changes, this may affect the design process, project timeline, suitability of recommendations or final deliverables.
Significant changes or deviations from your questionnaire answers, lifestyle requirements, design direction, brief or project priorities after work has commenced may be treated as a change of brief or redesign work. Additional fees, revised timeframes or a revised scope may apply.
10. Your responsibilities
The quality, accuracy and usefulness of our work depends on the information you provide.
You agree to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information, including where relevant:
- builder plans, floor plans, elevations and working drawings;
- cabinetry drawings, electrical plans, selections documents and specifications;
- supplier ranges, builder inclusions and contract documents;
- site measurements, photographs, videos or other visual information;
- information about your household, lifestyle, needs, preferences and priorities;
- budget guidance;
- feedback, approvals and decisions within agreed timeframes;
- any other information reasonably required to complete the agreed service.
You are responsible for reviewing all deliverables carefully and asking questions before relying on them.
You are also responsible for ensuring all recommendations, layouts, dimensions, products, materials, fixtures, finishes, appliances, furniture and design decisions are reviewed, checked and approved by your builder, cabinet maker, trades, suppliers, certifier or other relevant professionals before ordering, manufacture, installation or construction.
You are responsible for communicating with Studio Ri Interiors through the agreed communication channel set out in your proposal, service agreement, onboarding information or written correspondence.
Active project feedback, approvals, design decisions, document comments and revision requests should be provided through the agreed channel so they can be properly reviewed, recorded and actioned. Communication through social media direct messages about an active client project is discouraged, as it can be difficult to track, organise, verify and incorporate into the design process.
Unless direct builder, trade, supplier or consultant liaison is expressly included in the agreed scope, you remain responsible for communications with those third parties. Draft, preliminary or in-progress design material is provided for client review and refinement within the Studio Ri Interiors design process and is not intended to be issued to builders, cabinet makers, trades, suppliers or other third parties for quotation, tendering, pricing, procurement, manufacture, ordering or construction.
If you choose to issue or authorise the use of a draft or preliminary design version for quotation, tendering or pricing, that version will be treated as your accepted final design for the purposes of the included design and refinement process. Any subsequent design changes may be treated as additional scope and separately quoted.
Direct liaison, coordination or project-management support by Studio Ri Interiors may be treated as additional scope.
Studio Ri Interiors is not responsible for missed, delayed or unactioned feedback, approvals or project information that is provided outside the agreed communication channel.
11. Project timelines, client communication and delays
A project timeline may be specified in your proposal, service agreement, onboarding information, project schedule or written correspondence.
Where a project timeline is provided, Studio Ri Interiors allocates studio time, resources and design capacity to complete your design package within that timeline. Studio Ri Interiors may turn away, delay or schedule other client work in order to reserve time for your project.
You are responsible for providing required information, documents, approvals, decisions, communication and feedback within the project timeline so the service can be completed efficiently.
If the project timeline extends due to delayed responses, incomplete information, repeated difficulty obtaining feedback, late approvals, unclear instructions, significant changes to the brief or redesign work affecting other scheduled projects, Studio Ri Interiors may reschedule work in accordance with studio capacity, revise the project timeline, charge additional fees, pause the project, suspend the project or terminate the service in accordance with these Terms. Studio Ri Interiors reserves the right to refuse further revisions or refinements after the included or agreed refinement rounds have been completed.
12. Revisions, refinements and agreed refinement windows
A revision is a change to selected elements of an existing design direction. It does not include the exploration of a new concept, a substantial change in direction or a complete redesign. Such work may be treated as additional scope and separately quoted.
Once an active design, modelling, documentation or drafting period has commenced, Studio Ri Interiors may temporarily close that version or stage to new design changes so the agreed work can be completed efficiently and consistently. New ideas, requested changes or refinements received during an active drafting period may be recorded for consideration during the next applicable feedback or revision stage rather than incorporated into the version currently being prepared.
Unless expressly included in the relevant service, a feedback or review window is primarily a client review and decision-making period and does not constitute a reserved period of continuous active drafting, concept development or one-to-one designer time. Additional meetings, live design sessions or reserved designer time requested during a feedback window may be separately quoted.
Any design version issued before completion of the agreed refinement process is a draft or preliminary design unless Studio Ri Interiors expressly identifies it as final. Draft versions are provided for client review, feedback and design development and are not intended for quotation, procurement, ordering, manufacture or construction.
A client may elect to accept a draft version as their final design before using all included refinement rounds. If the client does so, any unused refinement entitlement attached to that design stage will expire and will not be transferable, refundable or exchanged for other services.
An included refinement round is intended for the client's review of the design and for reasonable refinements to the established design direction. It is not a tender, procurement or value-engineering stage and does not include redesign arising from quotations, pricing exercises, builder tenders, cabinet maker tenders or supplier pricing obtained from third parties after a design version has been issued.
Where a client requests changes arising from third-party pricing, quotation or tendering after electing to use a design version for that purpose, those changes may be treated as post-design amendments or additional design services and separately quoted.
Unless otherwise stated in the relevant service description or agreed scope, each applicable design stage or deliverable includes one refinement round.
A refinement window is the period provided for you to review the relevant draft or design presentation and submit feedback for the included refinement round. The refinement window is 5–7 business days from the date the relevant design work is provided, unless another timeframe is agreed in writing.
Feedback and refinement entitlements must be exercised within the applicable refinement window. A client who requires additional review time may request one extension of up to 5 business days before the original refinement window expires. Any extension is subject to Studio Ri Interiors' written approval and is not automatic.
Feedback must be complete, consolidated and provided in writing through the project communication method nominated by Studio Ri Interiors. Feedback submitted separately, through multiple communication channels or after the refinement window or approved extension may be treated as additional refinement work.
If complete consolidated feedback is not received by the end of the applicable refinement window or approved extension, Studio Ri Interiors may treat the version provided as approved and final, close the applicable refinement round and proceed to the next stage, final handover or project closure as applicable. The unused refinement round will not remain open indefinitely. Changes requested after the applicable refinement window or approved extension may be treated as an additional refinement round and separately quoted.
Additional refinement rounds are quoted according to the scope, complexity and extent of the requested changes and are scheduled subject to studio capacity around projects already confirmed in the design calendar. Studio Ri Interiors may decline an additional refinement round where studio capacity cannot accommodate the timeframe required.
13. Fees, invoices and payment
Fees will be set out in the relevant proposal, service guide, invoice, checkout page, written agreement or scope confirmation.
Unless otherwise stated, all fees are in Australian dollars.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, full payment of the agreed design fee is required before Studio Ri Interiors commences design services.
Where a design service includes multiple design stages, presentations, versions or refinement rounds, these form part of one complete design service and are not separately optional purchases. Included refinement rounds are an allowance within the agreed service and do not represent separately priced components of the project fee.
Staged or instalment payments are available only where expressly agreed by Studio Ri Interiors in writing. Where staged payments are agreed, they are payment milestones toward the total agreed project fee and do not divide the engagement into separate or independently optional services or design stages.
Studio Ri Interiors may withhold commencement, continuation, presentation or release of design work until any amount due under the agreed payment arrangement has been received.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, final deliverables may be withheld until all outstanding fees for the relevant service have been paid.
Additional fees may apply for work outside the agreed scope, additional revisions, urgent work, additional rooms or spaces, additional documentation, additional visualisations, additional meetings, changes to the brief, changes caused by inaccurate or late information, or additional design support requested after work has commenced.
14. Cancellations, changes and refunds
Studio Ri Interiors provides custom design services prepared specifically for each client's home, requirements and agreed brief. Design fees are non-refundable once the engagement has been confirmed and payment has been made.
No refund, partial refund, credit or fee reduction is provided where a client changes their mind, cancels the engagement, decides not to proceed with part of the service, or elects not to use an included design stage, presentation, version or refinement round.
Included refinement rounds are allowances within the agreed design service and are not separately priced services. Unused refinement rounds have no cash, credit, transfer or substitution value.
Where staged payments have been expressly agreed in writing, amounts due under that agreed payment arrangement remain payable in accordance with the written agreement.
15. Payment processors and third-party payment services
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers, booking systems, checkout platforms, invoicing systems or buy-now-pay-later providers.
Those providers operate independently and may have their own terms, privacy policies, fees, security processes, eligibility requirements and dispute processes.
Studio Ri Interiors is not responsible for third-party payment platform outages, fees, declined payments, processing delays, account decisions, financing decisions, security incidents or provider terms, except to the extent required by law.
16. Refusal, suspension or termination of service
Studio Ri Interiors may refuse, pause, suspend or terminate a service or engagement where we reasonably believe:
- the requested scope is outside our services or expertise;
- required information has not been provided;
- payment has not been received;
- the brief has materially changed;
- communication has become unreasonable, unsafe, abusive or inappropriate;
- continuing the service would create a conflict, legal risk or professional concern;
- you have breached these Terms or any written agreement;
- the project is no longer suitable for Studio Ri Interiors.
If a service is terminated, any refund or amount payable will be determined by reference to the work already completed, costs incurred, payments received, the agreed scope and any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
17. Builder-ready or Trade-ready documentation
Where we refer to "builder-ready" or "trade-ready" documentation, this means design documentation prepared to help communicate design intent, selections, layouts, joinery concepts, dimensions, details or visual direction to your builder, cabinet maker, trades, suppliers or chosen project team.
Builder-ready and trade-ready documentation does not mean structural documentation, engineering documentation, certified construction drawings, architectural drawings, building approval documentation, shop drawings, manufacturing drawings, or documents suitable for construction without further review by appropriately qualified professionals.
All drawings, dimensions, specifications, selections and recommendations must be checked and confirmed by your builder, cabinet maker, trades, suppliers, installer, certifier or other relevant professional before ordering, manufacture, installation or construction.
18. Custom joinery guidance
Where Studio Ri Interiors provides custom joinery concepts, elevations, details, dimensions or documentation, these are prepared to communicate design intent.
Unless expressly agreed in writing, our joinery documentation is not shop drawings, manufacturing drawings or final construction documentation.
Your cabinet maker, builder, manufacturer or installer is responsible for site measurement, final dimensions, construction methods, materials suitability, hardware, clearances, tolerances, compliance, installation, manufacture and buildability.
19. Lighting and electrical planning guidance
Where Studio Ri Interiors provides lighting or electrical planning guidance, this is provided as design guidance only.
Lighting and electrical design and documentation through Studio Ri Interiors may indicate design intent, type of light fixtures, direction of light beams, specified locations, switching intent, light temperature, fixture style, lighting mood, general layouts or recommendations. It does not replace electrical design, electrical engineering, compliance assessment, load calculations, wiring design, safety checks or advice from a licensed electrician or other qualified professional.
All electrical locations, switching, wiring, circuits, loads, installation methods, compliance requirements and final placement must be confirmed by your builder, electrician or other relevant qualified professional before installation or construction.
20. Furniture curation and styling guidance
Where Studio Ri Interiors provides furniture curation, styling guidance or furniture planning, this is a design recommendation service only unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
We do not purchase, order, procure, receive, inspect, deliver, assemble, install, return or manage furniture, artwork, decor, lighting, rugs or other products on your behalf.
While we endeavour to provide comprehensive information in our furniture schedules, including product names, supplier information, dimensions, indicative pricing, finishes, notes or links where available, you are responsible for confirming all product details directly with the relevant retailer, supplier, manufacturer, installer or delivery provider before purchasing.
You are responsible for confirming product dimensions, pricing, stock, lead times, delivery requirements, access requirements, returns, warranties, suitability, assembly, installation and care instructions before purchasing or installing any item.
Studio Ri Interiors is not responsible for furniture delivery issues, access issues, product defects, product quality issues, material issues, colour variation, discontinued items, changes in stock, pricing, lead times, supplier availability, delivery delays, assembly issues, installation issues, returns, replacements, warranties, retailer errors or supplier performance.
21. Information provided by you or third parties
Studio Ri Interiors may rely on information, plans, documents, drawings, measurements, images, product details, pricing, specifications, supplier information or advice provided by you, your builder, trades, suppliers, consultants or other third parties.
We are not responsible for errors, omissions, inaccuracies, incomplete information, outdated information, site conditions, builder changes, supplier changes, product discontinuation, pricing changes, stock issues, installation requirements, compliance requirements or other matters outside our reasonable control.
If information provided to us is incomplete, inaccurate, late or later changes, this may affect the accuracy, suitability, cost or timeframe of our work. Additional fees or revised timeframes may apply.
22. Builder, supplier and trade responsibility
Your builder, trades, suppliers, installers, manufacturers, certifiers and other consultants are responsible for confirming whether any design recommendation can be built, supplied, installed, certified, approved or included within your project.
Studio Ri Interiors does not guarantee that any design, selection, layout, documentation or recommendation will be accepted, priced, sourced, supplied, installed, built, approved or certified by your builder, supplier, trade, installer, manufacturer, certifier or consultant.
You are responsible for confirming that our recommendations align with your builder's scope, building contract, inclusions, exclusions, site conditions, construction requirements, budget and any applicable approvals before proceeding.
23. Product selections, pricing and availability
Any product, finish, material, fixture, fitting, furniture, artwork, lighting, appliance, supplier or retailer information provided by Studio Ri Interiors is based on information available at the time of preparation.
Products, prices, availability, colours, finishes, lead times, specifications, inclusions and supplier ranges may change without notice.
Studio Ri Interiors does not guarantee product availability, pricing, stock levels, lead times, suitability, supplier performance, product quality, warranties, installation outcomes or final appearance.
You should confirm all product information directly with the relevant supplier, retailer, manufacturer, builder, trade or installer before purchasing, ordering, manufacturing or installing any item.
24. Visual materials, renders and colours
Visual materials, including mood boards, concept boards, sketches, elevations, plans, 3D visuals, renders and images, are provided to communicate design intent.
They may not represent exact scale, colour, texture, material behaviour, lighting conditions, product appearance, site conditions or final built outcomes.
Colours and finishes can appear differently depending on screen settings, print quality, lighting, batch variation, manufacturing differences, material characteristics and site conditions.
You should view physical samples, confirm product specifications and obtain supplier, builder or trade advice before making final selections or purchases.
Studio Ri Interiors does not guarantee that visual materials, renders, colours, selections or final built or furnished outcomes will exactly match a client's subjective expectations, preferences or desired appearance, particularly where outcomes are affected by screen settings, lighting, materials, manufacturing, supplier variation, site conditions, workmanship, installation or decisions made by the client or third parties.
25. Client-Supplied Materials
You may provide us with plans, drawings, models, files, images, specifications or other materials for use in your project ("Client Materials").
By supplying Client Materials, you warrant that you own them, or hold all necessary rights, licences and permissions to supply them to us and to authorise us to open, use, reproduce, adapt and incorporate them for the purposes of your project.
Where Client Materials were prepared by a third party — including an architect, building designer, draftsperson, cabinetmaker or previous consultant — we may require written confirmation from the author or copyright owner before we use them.
We are under no obligation to accept or use Client Materials. We may elect at our sole discretion to prepare our own drawings, models and documentation from the approved plans where we consider this preferable for accuracy, consistency, technical quality or workflow. Electing to do so does not constitute additional work, a variation to scope, or grounds for an adjustment to our fees or timeframe.
We are not responsible for verifying the accuracy of Client Materials. All dimensions, levels, structural conditions and site information they contain remain subject to verification by you, your builder and relevant trades.
You indemnify us against any claim, loss, damage or cost, including legal costs, arising from our use of Client Materials in reliance on the warranty in clause 13.2 — including any claim of copyright infringement or breach of moral rights.
The supply of Client Materials does not reduce our fees, scope of work or project timeframe unless expressly agreed in writing.
Where Client Materials are incorporated into our deliverables, ownership of those materials remains with their original owner. Our rights under clause 27 apply only to work we author.
26. Working files and source files
Unless expressly included in the applicable service or agreed in writing, Studio Ri Interiors is not required to provide working files, editable files, source files, native design files, CAD files, SketchUp files, rendering files, layered files, templates, internal notes, draft concepts, marked-up documents, preliminary options or behind-the-scenes working material.
Where source or editable files are expressly included as a project deliverable, they will ordinarily be released at final project handover once all fees and outstanding amounts for the project have been paid, unless another release point is agreed in writing. Studio Ri Interiors may agree to release an included source file earlier where the full agreed project fee and any other outstanding amounts have first been paid.
Final deliverables will otherwise be provided in the format specified for the relevant service or agreed in writing.
27. Use of Studio Ri materials with AI tools
You must not upload, submit, input, reproduce, process, analyse, adapt or otherwise use Studio Ri Interiors' designs, drawings, schedules, documentation, visualisations, renders, images, templates, resources, written content, design concepts, methodology, working materials or other intellectual property in any artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, image-generation, design-generation, drafting, data-training or similar tool or platform without our prior written consent.
This restriction includes using our materials to train, fine-tune, prompt, generate, recreate, reverse engineer, imitate, adapt, derive, commercialise or develop new designs, documentation, images, services, templates, tools or business materials.
You may share final deliverables with your builder, cabinet maker, trades, suppliers, installers or chosen project team for the purpose of implementing your own project, provided they do not use those materials for any unauthorised purpose, including AI training, reuse, resale, redistribution or development of unrelated work.
This clause survives completion, cancellation or termination of the service.
28. Portfolio, marketing and testimonials
Studio Ri Interiors may refer to completed or in-progress design work for portfolio, educational, marketing, website, social media or promotional purposes.
We will take reasonable care not to publish your full name, private contact details or exact residential address without consent.
We may use de-identified or non-identifying examples of our work, process, documentation, visuals or outcomes for portfolio, educational, marketing or promotional purposes.
If you provide a testimonial, review, feedback, photograph, video or other content to Studio Ri Interiors, you grant us permission to use that content for business, portfolio, website, educational, social media or marketing purposes unless you tell us otherwise in writing.
You must only provide content that you own or have permission to share.
If you require confidentiality around your design engagement, you must notify us in writing before work commences so this can be discussed and recorded.
29. Third-party providers, contractors and technology
Studio Ri Interiors may use third-party providers, contractors, consultants, software, cloud platforms, design tools, drafting tools, rendering tools, payment platforms, accounting systems, website platforms, analytics tools, communication systems, automation tools and other technology to operate our business and deliver our services.
These providers and tools support our workflow and business operations.
Where we use third-party providers or contractors, we take reasonable steps to work with reputable providers and to limit information shared to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant business or service purpose.
Third-party providers, contractors, software platforms and cloud systems may be based in Western Australia, interstate or overseas. They may have their own terms, privacy policies, security measures, data handling practices, system limitations and availability.
Studio Ri Interiors is not responsible for the acts, omissions, outages, security incidents, pricing, performance, policy changes, service changes or failures of third-party providers, except to the extent required by law.
30. Privacy and confidentiality
Studio Ri Interiors handles personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By using our website, submitting an enquiry, downloading a resource, joining a waitlist, purchasing a service or engaging Studio Ri Interiors, you agree that we may collect, use, store and disclose your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
We take reasonable care to keep your project information confidential, except where disclosure is reasonably required to provide our services, operate our business, communicate with third parties involved in your project, use professional or technical support, obtain professional advice, comply with legal obligations, protect our rights, or as otherwise permitted by these Terms or our Privacy Policy.
You agree not to disclose, reproduce, distribute or misuse Studio Ri Interiors' confidential information, including our pricing, templates, systems, methods, processes, working files, draft concepts, internal workflows, resources or unpublished design material.
31. Downloadable resources and digital content
From time to time, Studio Ri Interiors may provide free or paid downloadable resources, guides, checklists, templates, digital content, educational material or other resources.
These resources are provided for general information and educational purposes only. They are not project-specific advice and may not be suitable for your individual home, builder, contract, site, budget or circumstances.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, downloadable resources and digital content are for your personal use only and must not be copied, shared, resold, redistributed, adapted, uploaded, published or commercially exploited without our written permission.
32. Email subscriptions and marketing communications
If you submit an enquiry, join a waitlist, download a resource, subscribe to updates, purchase a service or otherwise provide your contact details, we may send you service-related communications and, where permitted, marketing communications about Studio Ri Interiors, resources, updates, services, availability, launches or related content.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email or contacting us directly.
We will not knowingly send commercial electronic messages in breach of applicable spam laws.
33. Third-party links, suppliers and resources
Our website, resources or deliverables may include links or references to third-party websites, platforms, suppliers, retailers, products, services, resources, social media pages or other external content.
These links or references are provided for convenience only.
Studio Ri Interiors does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites, content, terms, privacy practices, products, services, pricing, accuracy, security, availability, policies or performance.
Any dealings you have with a third-party supplier, retailer, builder, trade, installer, manufacturer, consultant or platform are solely between you and that third party.
34. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, remedy or protection you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Where our services are supplied to a consumer under Australian Consumer Law, our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded, including that services will be provided with due care and skill.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, where Studio Ri Interiors is permitted to limit liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited, at our option, to re-supplying the relevant services or paying the cost of having the relevant services re-supplied.
35. No guarantee of outcome
Studio Ri Interiors will provide services with reasonable care and skill.
However, we do not guarantee that any design recommendation, selection, layout, documentation, visualisation, report, guide, schedule, resource or concept will result in a particular building outcome, supplier outcome, approval outcome, budget outcome, valuation outcome, resale outcome, builder acceptance, trade acceptance, product availability, finished appearance or level of satisfaction.
Final outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including builder decisions, site conditions, trade workmanship, installation, manufacture, supplier availability, product changes, lighting, budget, approvals, construction methods, client decisions and decisions made by third parties.
36. Limitation of liability
This clause applies subject to Australian Consumer Law and to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Studio Ri Interiors is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or economic loss, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of enjoyment, loss of savings, loss of data, delay costs, rectification costs, replacement costs, builder issues, trade issues, supplier issues, installation issues, product issues, site issues, variation costs or third-party losses arising from your use of our website, resources or services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with a service is limited to the amount you paid to Studio Ri Interiors for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights, guarantees, remedies or protections that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable laws.
37. Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Studio Ri Interiors against any loss, damage, cost, liability or expense arising from:
- inaccurate, incomplete, late or misleading information provided by you;
- your failure to review, check or approve deliverables carefully;
- your use of our deliverables outside the agreed purpose;
- decisions made by you, your builder, trades, suppliers, installers, consultants or other third parties;
- changes made to our work by others;
- your breach of these Terms;
- your misuse of our website, content, intellectual property or confidential information;
- materials, images, plans, documents or content you provide without the necessary rights or permissions.
38. Events beyond our control
Studio Ri Interiors is not liable for delay or failure to perform any obligation where the delay or failure is caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
This may include illness, emergencies, natural disasters, power outages, internet outages, technology failures, software issues, platform outages, supplier delays, third-party failures, government action, industrial disputes or other events that could not reasonably have been foreseen or avoided.
Where such an event occurs, we will work with you in good faith to reschedule, adjust delivery or revise timeframes where reasonably possible.
39. Disputes
If a concern or dispute arises, you agree to contact Studio Ri Interiors first so we can attempt to resolve the matter in good faith.
Both parties agree to act reasonably and provide relevant information to help resolve the issue.
Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent legal relief or exercising rights that cannot be excluded by law.
40. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
